<ServiceInformation>
<DescriptionText><text>
The firmware checks the parity of each word of image data sent by the
workstation. If there is a discrepancy, this unsolicited error is reported
at the end of the image. Note that a parity error does not cause the image
to abort or suspend, so plates should be inspected when this message is
reported.
</text></DescriptionText>
<DescriptionText><text>
The SCSI hardware should be checked as described in the Service Manual's
Troubleshooting section. If the SCSI hardware does not seem to be the problem,
the possibility of external electrical noise corrupting the SCSI data should
be investigated.
